The family and friends of Josh Jones have kindly fundraised to pay for a full day of care today at Claire House in his memory.
Josh was diagnosed with a rare condition called FOXG1 Syndrome which impacts brain development and function and was supported by Claire House throughout his life.
Mum Kate said: “Claire House are always there, not just when your child is alive but when you’ve lost them too. There’ll be there as long as we need them – we know we can just text or pick up the phone and speak to someone.
“Josh was a wonderful boy. He relied on people for everything but he had the most amazing smile.
“Claire House provided respite support throughout his life and they supported his younger brother Seb too, who got to spend time with other siblings in the same position as him.”
Friends have ran the London Marathon and Manchester Marathon in Josh’s memory and in June, 8-year-old Seb is walking 14 miles from Lymm to Emirates Old Trafford.
Thank you to everyone who has helped raise money in Josh’s memory and contributed towards Paying for a Day at Claire House in his name.
