Claire House Children’s Hospice is extremely grateful to Murphy Scrap Metals in Birkenhead, who have donated a massive £15,000; the value of scrap metal they have had donated over the past year. Not only are they helping the environment but also the donation will make a massive difference to sick children across Merseyside.
Speaking about their donation efforts, Andy Murphy, Manager at Murphy Scrap Metals said: “We are delighted to help such an important charity such as Claire House. We raised £15,000, with the generous help of our amazing customers who have kindly donated scrap metal to our charity scrap skip.
The firm have now raised a whopping £42,409 for Claire House in total.
Claire House Children’s Hospice helps seriously and terminally ill children make the most of the time they have however long or short that may be. By providing specialist nursing and end of life care, as well as emotional support Claire House helps families through some of the toughest times of their lives.
