Are you a people-person? Enjoying chatting on the phone? Would you like to be part of a dedicated fundraising team? We’re looking for volunteers to make thank you calls to our amazing supporters.
You’ll be assigned a list of supporters to call and asked to thank them for their donation or to welcome them as new supporters. You’ll be a key part of improving their experience, helping them to feel valued and to understand the impact of their support.
We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic and approachable volunteers who have excellent communication skills. You’ll need to be comfortable using the phone and confident using IT. Strong IT skills are essential as you’ll need to use Outlook, Microsoft Office, our online phone system and fundraising database.
Please note this role may expand in the future to include anniversary calls and event invitations.
Time: Flexible (these calls will need to be done on a weekly basis, but at a time/day that suits you)
Location: Flexible – you can choose between our Wirral Fundraising Office, West Derby Office or remote (if remotely you’ll need access to your own laptop/computer)
Requirements: You’ll be asked to complete an application form, provide two references and attend an informal ‘interview’ (which can be done remotely).
