Hero Hike 2025 *SCHOOLS ONLY*

*Our Claire House Hero Hike is back for 2025 – this year with 2 different ways to take part!*

Option 1

It gives us great pleasure to invite you and your Key Stage 2 pupils to Delamere Forest for our Claire House Hero Hike – a 3k walk around the forest with an outdoor learning activity with Forest Explorers. It’s a great opportunity to celebrate the end of the school year and support your local children’s hospice.

Upon arrival, each pupil will receive a commemorative lanyard with an activity pack linked to the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.

On completion of the walk, pupils can gather in the concourse area for entertainment and celebrate their achievement.

Arrival time: 9.30 – 11am

Departure time: 2pm

Please note: You need to arrange your own transport to and from Delamere Forest.

Option 2

Hold your own Hero Hike event in your community or school grounds by completing a sponsored 3k walk.

We will provide you with a Hero Hike lanyard and activity pack for all participants which you can complete wherever you are!

There is no registration fee to take part in the Hero Hike but we do ask each participating school to raise sponsorship money. This can be done via traditional sponsor forms (which we can provide) or by setting up a JustGiving page.

By taking part in the Hero Hike, you will be helping to raise vital funds to support local children and families now and in the future.
