We are looking for siblings aged 8 to 11 yrs who would like to join us for a residential trip consisting of two nights away. We are going to Kingswood in Colomendy, Denbighshire, North Wales which is popular with a lot of school residential trips. You can see more information about the centre here 👉 kingswood
We will be travelling by minibus from Claire House on Friday 28th October. The meeting time at Claire House WIRRAL is 4.00pm and we need to leave promptly at 4.30pm. It is really important to be on time, if we leave any later we risk missing out on our dinner slot and evening activities. We will return on Sunday 30th October straight after breakfast, planning to be back at Claire House WIRRAL for 10.15 to 10.30 (dependant on traffic).
During the stay, we are planning to do many adventurous activities– hopefully the weather will be kind to us whilst we are outdoors! Kingswood have facilities for water sports, climbing and abseiling, high and low rope activities, zip wires and loads more. They are currently putting together a specific itinerary for us.
Accommodation (including bedding) and all meals are provided (allergies and other dietary requirements can be catered for).
We have 20 places available so if anyone would like to come along, please register your interest by Saturday 1st October. If your child has been on a residential with us already this year, please note that we may prioritise ones who haven’t but also feel free to register for this one as well. Once places have been confirmed, we will then send out another email confirming all of the details along with a list of things to bring and a bit more information on what the children will be doing during the stay.
