We’re encouraging the local community to get festive and don their Christmas hats on Thursday 5th December for Claire House!
You can take part in work, at school, or anywhere in your community, raising vital funds for the hospice. Wear your Santa hats, cracker hats, light up hats, reindeer antlers… whatever you prefer!
The idea was inspired by Claire Cain, who would wear funny hats when she was going through chemotherapy to cheers people up. Claire’s outlook on life remains a key value at Claire House and Christmas Hat Day is a great way to support Claire House!
Simply wear a Christmas hat on Thursday 5th December and make a donation!
A school class could each bring £1, and raise enough money to fund two hours of nursing care this Christmas. Your place of work could take part in your office and help fund an afternoon of nursing care this Christmas.
