On Saturday 12th October, light the way and take part in the Claire House Lantern Walk, a 6km walk starting and finishing at Seacombe Ferry Terminal.
Walk in memory, walk in celebration and walk together to support Claire House and raise vital funds to keep the hospice doors open.
This is the perfect family walk and the route is wheelchair and pram friendly.
Everybody gets a lantern, which can be collected from Eureka! Science + Discovery at Seacombe Ferry Terminal before you start the walk. You can arrive from 5.30pm and there’s lots of entertainment at the start area, before the walk starts at 6.30pm.
Dusk will turn to dark as you walk along the promenade to Vale Park, through the lit up park and back to Seacombe ferry Terminal.
It’s £12 per adult and £6 per child (aged 17 and under), and 0-2 year olds are free. Everyone can take their lantern home afterwards too.
